The wonderful Mayor Lewis celebrates 25 years in office!
This man has done a lot for our community, such as assisting the new farmer in reopening the Community Center and dealing with heavy paperwork. Neighboring towns cherish him almost as much as us! Feel free to buy him a drink at the saloon.

Abigail wins Egg Hunt for sixteenth year in a row!
Daughter of Pierre (of General Store fame) and Caroline, Abigail has won the annual Egg Hunt every year that she's participated. She started participating in the hunt at age 4, and continues to lead at 20 years old. This year, she found a grand total of 12 eggs! Let's go, Abigail!

New farmer moves into old Gramps' abandoned farm.
The farm has been abandoned for ten years. The old owner of the lot, known to everyone in town as Gramps, passed it on to the new farmer, his grandchild. This new farmer has already started to boost Pelican Town's economy. The farmer has not been available for a photo, as they are in the process of cleaning the old farm.

Carpenter Robin up for The Stardew Sapling Woodworking Award this year.
Robin, 43, submitted a magnificently designed table, about which she teasingly told The Pelican Town Press: "You'll have to wait and see." Her son, Sebastian, said: "What are you talking to me for? Oh, yeah, my mom makes good furniture. She made me a desk for the Feast of the Winter Star one year. It's lasted a long time."
