About

Florence Pugh was born and raised in Oxfordshire, UK. She had health problems as a child, such as asthma and collapsed airways, which caused her family to move to Andalusia, Spain for a few years, hoping the warmer climate would help. Her father, Clinton Pugh, created some iconic restaurants in Oxford like Kazbar, Cafe Coco, and Cafe Tarifa, but he sold all three of them in 2019. Her mom, Deborah Mackin, is a dancer and dance teacher who attended a performing arts school. Florence has three siblings, Arabella Gibbins, Toby Sebastian, and Rafaela Pugh all of whom are performers and love to act. Pugh showed that she was made to be an actress at age six, when she played Mary in the Christmas Nativity, and decided to give her a Yorkshire Accent. As she grew older, she attended private school in Oxford and got lead parts in many of her school productions. 17-year-old Florence would have never guessed that she would book the job that her mom told her to audition for, knowing that the chances of her getting the part were slim. Aside from acting, Florence also sings, plays the guitar and piano, and writes her own songs. This multi-talented woman is surely unstoppable, and she will leave a great mark on people everywhere.

Career

Florence Pugh has acted ever since she was a child, but her acting career began at the age of 17 when she landed the role of Abby Mortimer in The Falling. Since then, she has gone on to do many other roles, none like the other. It worked." Her castmates and friends will often describe her as fun, feisty, versatile, and full of life. Her uplifting spirit is contagious to everyone around her, which is part of why directors and actors love her and want to work with her.
