MALALA YOUSAFZAI
fought a tough and ambitious battle for the right to education: Malala Yousafzai.
At the age of 17, Malala received the Nobel Peace Prize, thanks to her courageous commitment to the right to education, denied to women in her home country of Pakistan by an edict of the Taliban.
In 2012, on her way home from school, a man shot her in the head, but she managed to survive after being treated in England. Despite constant threats, Malala continues to carry on her battle with tenacity, so that the right to education becomes truly universal.
