See my face!

"This is real, this is me. I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be now. Gonna let the light shine on me"- Demi Lovato. This is how I feel about this photo carousel.

All of my favorite songs!

I'm really indecisive so I have a lot of songs. To help you out, I split the songs up into two categories: Normal People Music and Showtunes (showtunes being songs from musicals).

N.P.M. Showtunes
Venus by Lady Gaga Itzik's Lullaby from The Band's Visit
Froot by Marina Where Do I Go from Hair
Say Something by Kylie Minogue Making a Home from Falsettos
I Don’t Want it at All by Kim Petras Marry Me a Little from Company
Call Your Girlfriend by Robyn Lonely Room from Oklahoma
Easy by Troye Sivan Wicked Little Town from Hedwig and the Angry Inch
Perfect by Alanis Morissette We See the Light from Something Rotten
One of These Days by Jonathan Larson...... Stars from Les Miserables
1999 by Prince Salty Teardrops from Caroline or Change
Hot Ohio by Gavin Creel Carrying the Banner from Newsies
Rhythm of the Night by DeBarge All-American Prophet from the Book of Mormon

Oh you want to know my favorite broadway vocalists? Because you were so interested in my favorite showtunes? I thought you'd never ask.

So that you have a visual, here is all of them in a real picture together. Totally not photoshopped.

My current obsessions!

I am a very obsessive person. I routinely get hooked on something for a short period of time. So, this year I was like oh, I should write all of my obsessions down so I can see if there is a pattern. There is no pattern yet. My mind is unhinged.

Most influential media in my life!

These are all of the pieces of media/ people in media that have shaped me most.

Books

I did not read a lot of books growing up, so most of these are from school. I read very slow and it makes me sad.

Movies

My family is not a movie family. So, I've watched all of these movies in the last few years. On my own accord.

TV Shows

I love TV because of its episodic nature. I like that small commitments cummulate into a big resolution at the end. I like the routine of sitting down and watching an episode each week. It's also very nostalgic for me. Shoutout to cartoons.

Video Games

I believe that the Nintendo Wii was the most formative device of my childhood. Wii-era Nintendo games are in my blood. Especially the trashy ones. Video games are how I bonded with my family, especially my brother, growing up.

Youtubers

I feel like I was raised on Youtube. I have been watching two of these channels since 4th grade. I didn't have a phone and my family didn't have an IPad, so I found a way to download it on my family's Nook, which was some off-brand IPad that Barnes and Noble sold. Youtube is my media of choice at almost all times. I watch more Youtube than I listen to music or watch TV. When I'm working, a video is always on. The culture of Youtube is an ever-changing thing that I'm glad I got to so closely see grow and develop. Youtubers are my movie stars!

Musicals

Theatre has given me meaning. Not in doing it, but in consuming it. It is the artform that has influenced me the most. It fuels me. I think it will be with me for the rest of my life.

Drag Queens

The other artform that has truly changed my perspective is drag. Viewing gender as a beautiful performance is very healing. The queens also are just very joyous so I enjoy.

Yes! more pictures!

These are some of my favorite recent pictures in my camera roll that complete the vision. You do not get context.
